Born Sep 25, 1985 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Lil’ Re is a new and outstanding artist motivated to create his legacy in the music business. Lil’ Re started his music career at an early age. "I started off writing poetry to express what was on my mind at the age of 8.
I remember rhyming against my cousins when I would visit my Grandma," he explains. "Music was a challenge to me, I loved it, the art and feeling. Producing came later when I wanted to learn more about music," says Lil' Re. "I used a kiddies keyboard, a Playstation game called MTV's Music Generators (1 & 2), and a tape recorder that I got from a thrift store to make beats. Before then I would write to instrumentals. I remember the first instrumentals I wrote my lyrics to were Cool Breeze‘s “Watch for the Hook” and Total’s “Got Me Trippin” .
Inspired by all facets of the business, Lil’ Re works diligently as a songwriter, producer, engineer, and artist. With all of these abilities his number one goal is to become a great artist. His versatile swagger with a strong individual presence will always grab your attention. All walks of life find something undeniable about his music because he hits on subject matter we all can relate to.
With singles “She” and “Out of Control”, Lil’ Re is without question making strides to solidify himself as a household name. His forthcoming solo project “Respect” is sure to launch the enduring legacy of this Oklahoma native.
